杰出学者邹明辉1天被撤回3篇高水平文章,迄今已被撤回21篇文章

邹明辉教授系咸宁学院85届毕业生。曾先后在法国Pual-SabatierR大学、德国Konstanz大学获博士学位,原奥克拉荷马大学内科学系血管生物部负责人,细胞生物学、生理学、医学终身教授。主要从事血管生物学和药理学的研究。

2023年5月15日,邹明辉合作的3篇Diabetes 被撤回,同时2篇Diabetes 被发表关注。截至2023年5月16日,邹明辉共被撤稿21篇,其中包含9篇JBC 4篇Diabetes 2篇Circulation Research(IF=17),2篇Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology(IF=11),1篇CIRCULATION (IF=30) ,1篇PLOS ONE,1篇JOURNAL OF MOLECULAR ENDOCRINOLOGY及1篇American Journal of Physiology- Endocrinology and Metabolism,主要原因是图片重复使用,不适当篡改数据,伪造数据,部分原始数据无法找到。

佐治亚州立大学2016年10月介绍邹明辉为该校学术副校长

北京时间2022年10月15日凌晨,美国医学科学院(National Academy of Medicine)媒体负责人通过电子邮件回复澎湃新闻记者称,邹明辉(Ming-Hui Zou)不是该院院士

湖北科技学院(2012年更名前系咸宁学院)新闻网发布的信息称,邹明辉教授是该校1980级校友,曾先后在法国PAUL-SABATIER大学、德国KONSTANZ(康斯坦茨)大学获博士学位;主要从事血管生物学和药理学的研究;现为“美国医学科学院院士”;2008年经湖北省教育厅评审并正式批准,邹明辉为湖北科技学院“楚天学者计划”特聘教授设岗学科—药理学楚天学者讲座教授;2008年9月19日上午,该校举行了相关聘任仪式。

南京医科大学药学院官网2020年7月1日发布的信息称,邹明辉是佐治亚州立大学主管科研的“副校长”、分子和转化医学中心主任、生物医学终身教授,同时强调了其还是“美国医学科学院院士”。

2022年10月14日,记者查询佐治亚州立大学官网,该校的管理团队——校长和副校长——名单中,已不包括邹明辉他在研究所的个人简介也撤下关于副校长的介绍,详细简介已无法打开。

公开信息显示,邹明辉作为通讯作者或共同署名的多篇论文已被撤回,截至目前已达21篇。

在2023年5月15日,邹明辉等人合作在Diabetes(IF=9.34)发表的题为"Peroxynitrite-Dependent Zinc Release and Inactivation of Guanosine 5'-Triphosphate Cyclohydrolase 1 Instigate Its Ubiquitination in Diabetes"的文章被撤回,撤稿声明指出:由于对潜在图像复制实例的持续关注,美国糖尿病协会(ADA)的伦理科学计划小组(ESP)认为该研究的完整性已经受到损害,因此,该文章应该被撤回。
在2023年5月15日,邹明辉等人合作在Diabetes(IF=9.34)发表的题为"Liver Kinase B1 Is Required for White Adipose Tissue Growth and Differentiation"的文章被撤回,撤稿声明指出:俄克拉荷马大学健康科学中心(OUHSC)对文章中数据的完整性进行了调查,结论是多个Western blot图像是伪造的。
在2023年5月15日,邹明辉等人合作在Diabetes(IF=9.34)发表的题为"Upregulation of Mitochondrial Uncoupling Protein-2 by the AMP-Activated Protein Kinase in Endothelial Cells Attenuates Oxidative Stress in Diabetes"的文章被撤回,撤稿声明指出:由于对潜在图像复制实例的持续关注,美国糖尿病协会(ADA)的伦理科学计划小组(ESP)认为该研究的完整性已经受到损害,因此,该文章应该被撤回。
另外,邹明辉等人合作在Diabetes 发表的题为“Activation of AMP-Activated Protein Kinase Inhibits Oxidized LDL-Triggered Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress In Vivo”及“In Vivo Activation of AMP-Activated Protein Kinase Attenuates Diabetes-Enhanced Degradation of GTP Cyclohydrolase I”受到了编辑关注(Expression of Concern)。
